Here is another picture of the “Monkey socks”.
I got this free pattern from knitty:(http://www.knitty.com/issuewinter06/PATTmonkey.html). I was thrilled when I found this great resource for patterns! I’m using sock yarn from LoneSome Stone (www.lonesomestonefiber.com) that I got at a “yarn-tasting” I went to at one of my favorite LYS – Unwind, in Burbank (www.unwindyarn.com). The yarn color is “Jingleberry” – isn’t that a great name? I just love working with it and I’m holding back from ordering more because I’d like to use it in Sock Madness 2, but I have so much yarn in my stash that I really don’t need any more!!!! I taught myself how to knit two socks at one time on one long circular needle and it sure beats knitting one at a time on those annoying double-pointed needles. I don’t think I’ll ever go back!!!!!!
